Hello

My name's Dave and I have an 11" Ipad. My first Apple product. and coming from fairly cheap but decent Android tablets, a bit difficult to follow. I seem to easily get in a mess.
That's partly because I'm73. I'm disabled with a Parkinsonism, whereby I'm VERY clumsy with on screen keyboards. So one question I have is whether a usb mouse and bluetooth keyboard can be used,
I tried yesterday to buy an app but got nowhere using the on screen keyboard. Suggestions welcome.
I have an Ipad for Seniors book I must re-read.
That's all for now, expect lots of questions.

Welcome to iPad Forums, Dave!

Welcome to iPad Forums, Dave!

There are quite a few bluetooth keyboards, cheaper and more expensive ones, that can work with your iPad. Just make sure the one you intend to get connects to the iPad you’re using. You find your iPad’s model name in the Settings app on your iPad, in General - About. You’ll need the model name to find keyboards or mouses that work with your device.

Afaik, you can’t connect a mouse via USB to your iPad. They also use Bluetooth to work with your iDevice.

Hope that helps.

Regarding buying an App on an iPad - assuming you have set up an iCloud account, you should be able to double press the power button to purchase. This saves typing out your password.
