And I hope I'm starting this thread correctly and posting it right. If it isn't in the introductions area, I'm sorry!

I am not tech savvy at all, which is something that attracted me to iPads - they're so easy to use! I got mine a few weeks ago and I love it. I was thinking about getting a Kindle or Nook, and I thought I might as well get something more multi functional. So I passed my old netbook down to one of my kids.

I also got an Apple wireless keyboard because if I'm just here at home, I can't stand to take the type to type on the on screen one.

I do have a question about email on the iPad. Sometimes I accidentally delete an email. Where does the deleted email go? I can't seem to find it in the trash folder.

Thanks!
Nicky

Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!

Hope to hear from you soon with your thoughts about the iPad.

Have fun and enjoy your iPad

I saw your question regarding email. Check in your account settings; it's possible that you've set it up there to immediately delete emails sent to the Trash....'Settings', 'Email, Contacts, Calendar', 'Accounts' -> then select the account in question and change the delete option for that account to whatever you find appropriate - from delete immediately to delete never.

If you don’t already have it you can download a copy of the iPad manual for free.
