New Member with many Questions

Hello,
I will just confess here and now, I'm a former Android, Windows person who is trying to learn about the mysterious world of Apple.
I appreciate your patience, ahead of time, because I know I will have many newbie questions that I'm sure have been answered by you Gurus many many times. I received an iPad 2 for Christmas and purchased an iPhone so I can be submerged completely in this foreign land.
My main issue of course is Flash as I play flash games online. If anyone can help me with this issue right off the bat I will be forever grateful.
I don't understand "cracking" the iPad 2 or the consequences and benefits.
So, you have officially been warned of my total newbie status. I am very knowledgeable in the Windows world so terminology won't be a problem.

Please accept me into this foreign land and help me navigate and you'll have an appreciative friend,

Hello Perk - welcome to the forum!

First, Adobe Flash is a dead issue for the iPad (and other mobile devices) - see this post Flash & the iPad - sorry.

Second, your second question presumably concerns the issue of 'Jailbreaking' - please visit the 'Hacking' forum - there are plenty of basic stickies there that explain the process; also search the forum for further information - if you still have questions, leave or post there. In addition, a google search on that term will bring up numerous hits.

Hi Perks...As Giradman stated--Flash is a dead issue. There are a gazillion threads pertaining to this if you wish to read as well as the Stickie note on flash given above.
