New member with broken wall charger

Hi, everyone! I'm Amy. I got an iPad with wall charger for Christmas. It charged fine for a while, Last week, I noticed while it was plugged in, it would go from charging to not charging within a minute. I tried unplugging it and plugging it back in, but the same thing happened! Come to find out today that my charger has a hole in it!

Return it to the Apple store. A charger with a hole in it is potentially dangerous and should not be used. Apple will replace it. We have had one other Member with a similar report recently.
