Hi

Bought a 32g model last week in NY and all good except that any location services cannot locate me. Doesnt find me in any app; star walk, google earth, maps etc. Worked fine in NY.

I'm currently in the Cayman Islands. My 2g iPhone location services works fine

Tried resetting device & turning location services off & back on etc

Anyone else experiencing this?

Andy

I have made similar experiences with certain apps (Weather Bug). It looks to me more like an unprofessional implementation by the app-developer.

Well, after almost a week not working, it suddenly burst into life!

Seems like a quirk - possibly due to me setting location services off initially.

Having toggles it off and on several times, it all suddenly started to work.

Suspect it's something to do with iPad not yet fully supported internationally.

Try holding down home key and on off key until you see the apple logo this is a reset see what happens then. I lost wifi the other day and this fixed it. I do a reset about once every month on my iphone 3gs it helps clear any memory issues that may occur. PSI will not have an ipad until late May however it uses the same reset as the iphone 3 gs
