Wanted to know all your opinion's on this subject. All forums have there rules but in general what do you all think? The web is becoming more and more strict soon we won't even be able to log on without giving our real identity.

It is getting pretty police state like in some forums. In many forums it's to control where people shop.

Then start your own forum and make your own rules.

I think he the O.P. was just asking a general type question, and it was not aimed at this forum in any way.

Yes, I understand that. Every forum has rules, so if you don't agree with them, your best chance of getting the rules you want is starting your own forum.

If one wish's to start their own forum they always can do it. But I don't think it was ever the idea or the intent of the O.P. posters post.

The point is, unless any forum's rules violate laws, they can make whatever rules they like. Free speech is not the right to say or post whatever you like, whenever you like, wherever you like. When it comes to forums, rules can be arbitrary. That's why I responded to OP's question as I did.
