IPad PDF

I downloaded a PDF file from my main computer to my IPad using ITunes and sent it by way of PDF Reader. I have sent other PDF files with no problem.
Cannot open it. Get popup that says "Sign up to Kdan Cloud to unlock the file restriction Free Registration"
What does thi mead please?

It means your PDF Reader is run by Kdan Mobile Software. The Kdan Cloud is their way of syncing and storing documents. You get 500 MB data free.

Can I store the data on my IPad and then use another PDF Reader?

If you mean - can you use another PDF reader to open the one you can’t open? Possibly not. But you can use an alternative PDF Reader on your iPad for future PDFs.

The brute force method always works:

1. On your main computer, email the PDF to yourself.

2. On your iPad, open the email when it arrives, then open the PDF in iBooks. The PDF will stay in iBooks until you manually delete it.
