I'm noticing a lot of iPhone gadgets out there that's not really what I intended for this thread, but there cool so I will show a few :)
I have carried two phones round before for work but I like the thought that went into this product.

Sometimes 1 phone just isn’t enough, but if you own an iPhone and you don't want to run a confusing second SIM interface this cool case has a second phone built right into the backing. The cool feature of this case is that the built-in battery in the case will also charge your iPhone4 when you’re low on power. Simply put a SIM into the case and Clip it on. It’s that easy to carry around two great phones simply by adding a case.

- Color: Black
- 0.95" TP / TFT white and black screen
- Screen resolution: 96 x 64
- Band: GSM 900/850/1800/1900
- With one SIM slot
- Built-in 32Mb flash memory
- Stores up to 200 contacts number and 100 SMS
- Call records: Up to 20 missed calls, 20 answered calls and 20 dialed calls
- Built-in 1000mAh battery
- Charged by 2.0mm Nokia power adapter
- Adds a cell phone on your iPhone 4
- Charges your iPhone when battery dead
- Languages: Chinese/English/Thai
- Comes with a USB charging cable (39cm)

60" Virtual Screen Digital Video Eyewear Glasses for iPhone/iPad/iPod around $80, these have been around for years but it's the first I've seen with iPad support.

Oh my gosh...your story is like mine! I used to be the go to person for my parents...I have now been replaced by my nephew! He took a liking to gadgets at a very young age...he really loves it all. I think he would just love this thread if he were a member...still working on that one! :)

Just found this gadget to assist with healthy living.
Wifi weighing scales which connect to your iPad through its own wi fi hotspot so you can monitor your weight, BMI etc all on your device. You can post your results on Facebook (haha yeah let me!) or sync with google health. Still at around £120 this could be a very useful gadget for many families and a vital gadget for promoting healthy living. Still whatever helps keep you busy from going into the biscuit tin has to be a good thing :)

Product blurb
Ultra sleek, this tempered-glass and aluminium gizmo automatically records your weight, fat mass and BMI (body mass index) every time you step on it. But here’s the clever bit: it beams the info to your computer or iPhone over your WiFi connection, so you can track your results wherever you may roam via a password protected website or free iPhone app. You can even sync with Google Health and share your progress (or lack of) via email, Twitter or Facebook. Weigh-hay!

Oh very nice device...however, sharing my BMI And weight on Facebook would be quite laughable! What will think of next that can go wireless?

I know it's all about Facebook nowadays, you pump in your personal information and share it with your uncles neighbours grandchildren...... Why?

Anyway next up is a rather cool microscope I found, also a standalone wifi device this has around 50x microscopic zoom and a 5mp camera with supporting apps.

Product blurb
Japanese owned Scalar Corp has developed the "AirMicro model A1," a microscope that can connect to an iPhone or iPad via a wireless LAN.
Using a 50x lens, the microscope can zoom the images of the user's skin, or y'know whatever, in and out on the iPad. The company has already developed a downloadable app, for using the microscope with the iPhone and the iPad.
Scalar hopes to sell 50,000 units this year, looking likely to cost just under $400 when it goes on sale in the US.
The AirMicro A1 has a 5MP image sensor and 50x zoom lens, with the images transferring wirelessly to the iPad and displayed within the app, with the video shooting in 320 √ó 240 format at 15fps.
Scalar used GainSpan Corp's low-power-consumption wireless LAN chip so that the battery life of the microscope is not affected much.

Thank you brylupet, always good to meet a gadget fan.

Next up is another fitness item the Fitbit Ultra, with this personal trainer that handily connects to your iPhone/ iPad and feeds your daily activity into a handy report. I like the way it can beep at you if you have been sitting down to long, however I'm afraid if I had one it would be like having tinnitus in my ear! Basically as you walk around doing your daily routine this little device acts like a personal trainer telling you how many calories you have burnt off or need to burn off and lots more. At £79.99 it's cheaper than having a gym membership your not going to use :)

Also comes in black/blue (as shown) and black/plum.

Product Features:
Health and fitness tracker: monitors your daily activity and drives you to do more
Clips onto your belt or pocket and stays securely fastened all day
Displays customisable messages after prolonged periods of inactivity to encourage you to exercise
Can be worn while asleep to monitor sleeping patterns
Apple & Android app available for monitoring your fitness on the go
Fitbit keeps track of:
Current time
Calories burnt
Amount of floors climbed
Amount of steps taken
Miles walked/travelled
Upload your data to your private account at www.fitbit.com
Track your fitness history
Add your weight/height and any weight goals
Track your sleeping patterns and sleep efficiency
Dashboard regularly awards 'badges' for achievements as a motivational tool.
Tracks weight & BMI
Allows you to log activities (cycling, football, running). Handy when users refer back to previous days wondering why they've done or burnt more/less than their average day
Create a daily Food Log using their online database
The Dashboard will show the calories in the food you eat and then total up for the day, letting you know how many more calories you can eat in order to hit your weight loss goals etc (based on height, weight and goals entered)
Total food consumption for the day is broken down into Calories, Fat, Fibre, Carbs, Sodium, Protein and Water for easy reference.

Another one from the griffin catalogue comes this $699.99 docking station, capable of charging and syncing 10 iPads at once (in our dreams? Eh), this would be great for a business where iPads are used a lot, so you can charge and sync all iPads for meetings etc.
