Ipad calendar questions

howdy.

I have a couple of questions about the calendar.

an alert pops up only after the event is due. Can I configure this for early warning some where?

Also, when I write an event into the calendaron the road, it appears in red, but does not sync back to make the entry appear in Outlook 2007. When I add the entry to Outlook I have delete my entry made on the road.

is this how it is or am i missing something important about calendars?

Where are you creating your calendar events? In the iPad Calendar app, or on Outlook?

If it's created on the iPad, you can choose from ~10 alert times when you create/edit the event.

The other thing it might be is your time zone setting. Are your events set for another time zone (perhaps created in Outlook) than what the iPad is set to?
