Do they also make a case for the iPad mini?

Hey Folks, let's try to share photos of our cases here rather then saturate this thread with external links.

Post a pic of your case and give the name brand. If members are interested they can do a google search in their region if the want to do further review of an iPad case.

Thanks!

Ski: what's the reason we shouldn't use external links? It's much easier to find the product in question. Does it take up more bandwidth? Inquiring minds want to know.

Good idea, I edited my pics with a little more info.

As soon as my clear case back arrives I will be sure to post a picture of it on the air. Great idea as I find the sales shots of cases somehow do not convey what they look like in real life. I know for me the most important thing apart from protection is that the svelte lines of the air are kept, I think thats why I am still drawn to the Apple smart case. I had hopes for Speck but the one they just released looks really bulky.

It's not that you can't use an external link within this thread, however, a picture of the case would be more idea for people to see. Should a link be necessary so be it, however, external links will be reviewed to ensure that they are NOT self-advertising of a product.

Please take a moment to review the rules for reference regarding external links here: http://www.ipadforums.net/forum-rules-help-info/2119-forum-rules-everybody-please-read.html

Are there any cases similar to the $80 apple ipad case the includes a keyboard? Are those even out there? I was going to purchase a cheap $15 Fintie case from amazon today bought would love to find a decent case with a keyboard?

Just Google Ipad Air keyboard cases and you'll get quite a number of cases that will be available soon. There is Zagg, Moshi, Clamcase, etc. I'm sure Logitech also. I don't know about them being just like the Apple cover but I have the Logitech Ultrathin keyboard case for the Ipad 3 and it has the auto off/on cover (I use it with a cheap gel clear back that I cut so the Ipad could sit upright in the case). I liked it very much but its passed on to my husband with the Three.

I've decided to not consider a keyboard case this time. I used the keyboard mostly at home when i wanted/needed to type quite a lot and since i have the very light, very thin Apple BT keyboard, I'll use it--even when I travel in a very light, soft, thin slip cover from SF Bags.

Can some please recommend a good Air case for me? I first purchased a Griffin Survivor Case. I figured I'd get this one because my son uses my iPad and I don't need him to break it, he uses it a lot. This case does cover everything up but is just too bulky and makes really heavy for him to carry around. I just returned it and picked up a iPad Air Smart Case which is Apples most protective one, I'll use it until I can find a permanent one. I'm looking for something simliar to the Apple Smart Case but $50-60 bucks cheaper, $80 is insane. I'm just worried about the glass getting scratched, he plays with his Telepods. The Survivor Case had this flimsy plastic protector, but crap still got under it and sometimes you had press hard on the touch screen. Has anyone bought any of these cases off of Amazon, some are really cheap but have got great reviews: - Fintie SmartShell Case $8.99 - Poetic Slimline Case $9.95 - MoKo Apple iPad Air Case $17.99 So any ideas for me would be appreciated. Thanks.

Fintie is the right choice, IMO. I love mine so far. Does exactly what I want it to do and appears to made decently too. Go for it.

So my clear case back arrived today, just over twenty days fro China to Canada and within the quoted shipping time. All packed in bubble wrap nice and securely from this eBay seller for $4:99 including shipping
Crystal Clear Hard PC Plastic Back Case Cover Slim Shell FOR Apple Ipad 5 AIR | eBay

The case fits as well as the Logiix one I had on my old iPad 1 for a fraction of the price. I think I paid almost $30 for the Logiix back in 2010!

I include some pictures to show you how well it fits. The plastic has a nice thickness to it, not too thick to spoil the svelte lines of the Air though. All the cut outs allow full use of openings and buttons. The case fits perfectly and holding it upside down over my bed the Air stayed firmly in place when shaken. If I had paid what I did for the Logiix case I would have been happy but at $4:99 shipping included if you want this style of case back its a no brainer, very happy with it and so much so I think I will order a full case from this seller instead of waiting for the Apple ones to come down in price!

Hope this helps and here are so quick pictures..

I know, right? I did the same thing. But didn't order until it was $5 plus shipping. I noticed today it is up to $15 but qualifies for prime. Mine just shipped today. Glad to hear you found it better than expected. This Smart Cover is sure not secure, but it beats nothing, so I am glad I've had it this past week.

I just got mine yesterday and it fits like a glove. I paid <$8 incl shipping for mine and as you mentioned, it's up to $15 now.
