Well, let's try not to hijack the thread as doing that is against the forum rules, but, positions on the team are by invite and through recommendation by existing staff members, once approved by the site owners.
In general, members need to demonstrate a long standing positive contribution to the site coupled with a consistent application of the forum rules and sometimes specialist areas of expertise (e.g. hacking).

Or, in other words, be an exceptional iPadForums.net citizen and you will get noticed!
