I am new here and I have problem!!

Hello,

I liked iPad because it's larger than iPhone in size!!!
But I have a problem transferring any game can any one help?

First, I have updated my iPad to iOS 5.0.1
When I search for a game in the App store but can't find it, I then start to search for it in the internet...
I downloaded the game Magic Power Defense from a website.

Then, I connect my iPad to the Computer and then I tick Sync after I tick all of the apps that are already installed in the iPad and tick the game that I downloaded after I add it to the Library.

but I always get this message that the app in the library could not be installed in the iPad.
Click OK More Information

I always encounter this problem when I try to Sync any game that I downloaded from any website, not iTunes app store.

And here is a screenshot of the message that appears..

The app in the library could not be installed because the app could not be found.

And sometimes it says:
Failed to install the app.
OK More Information

Does the iPad refuse to install any downloaded game not downloaded from the App Store?

Any help?

Hi amg...I think I saw another similar post of yours somewhere else. For ease of allowing others to follow this, I will respond to you here.

Regarding an app outside of the apple AppStore...your iPad nor iTunes will not recognize it. Since you didn't purchase it directly from the AppStore it may not be compliant with the iPad's operating system and/or Apples strict criteria for allowed apps within the AppStore. Sorry. Perhaps others may chime in and give you additional advice.

OK I have heard that I should jailbreak the iPad to install any app that faces this installation problem...

To install .ipa purchased with your own Apple ID for that device, the installation works even without Jailbreak. To install unsigned .ipa package, you may need to install AppSync from Cydia. Otherwise, the installation will fail.

What is unsigned .ipa?
Does they mean the apps that I download from websites not from app store?
If so, can you tell me how can I jailbreak it in order to use Cydia and AppSync, please?

Hi amg...I am unfamiliar with the process of hack and jailbreak, however, we have several Super moderators/moderators that look at just that. Perhaps you can search the jailbreak and hack section forum. You might find some info there.

Seems like you can do a lot more when you jail break your iPad. I am too chicken to do it myself, and am happy with my stock pad!!
Like I said, other members may be able to help you and give you better insight.

Please remember that the sites you talk about getting apps are piracy sites. This forum does NOT condone the use of any other place to get apps than the App Store. Getting apps any other place than the App Store is piracy, which is against this forum's rules and illegal! don't be a pirate and buy your apps - like honest people do!

ASUS Charger helped me!!!
It can now charge once I connect it to the Computer.

I just looked in the threads she sent and did see a member include a link to the Asus charger link for iPods, etc.
