How to delete Home Screen items?

Hi,

I accidently put a web page on my Home Screen when I only ment to bookmark it. So now I want to delete it but I don't see any way to do it.

Hold down your finger on an app until they all wiggle. Then delete what you wish.

Tap the Home button

When you get a chance, download a copy of the iPad User Guide. It is available for free in several different formats.

a) As a free PDF download from the Apple website --

This can (and should!) be saved on your computer and your iPad.

b) As a free iBook once you download the free iBook app from the iTunes App Store.

c) Online using the link provided in the Safari favorites on your iPad.

Well ~ an x typically means, close out, delete. A plus, no clue what that means.

So which is it? You could be correct ~ No clue, actually. But from your attitude, me thinks I am.
