FaceTime camera issue

My FaceTime was working fine. Now, for the last few weeks I can see who I'm talking to but they can't see me. I also notice that my regular camera will only take pictures of other people... No selfies. And the camera icon doesn't switch it around anymore. I think the FaceTime issue is the camera issue, but don't know how to fix it.

Hi, welcome to iPF!

If you enabled Restrictions, make sure that Camera is not disabled there: Settings - General - Restrictions
Look at Settings - General - Date & Time. If there's something wrong, correct it.

One more option: reset your iPad. You won't lose any data or settings.
To reset, press and hold Home and Power button at the same time until the Apple logo appears. Release both and let the iPad power up.

Thanks for the suggestions. I looked at the settings. I have no restrictions and the date/ time are correct. I tried the reset and no go. Still have the problem

If your iPad is still under warranty they are likely to offer you a replacement iPad......do a full back up of your iPad before you go so as to make the change over simple.
