Dual screen / split screen app

Before i give up on this, is anyone aware of an app that will let me run two apps of my choosing in a dual screen mode. I'm not looking for multitasking, more like a pause feature, that enables me to display safari on half the screen, and Evernote in the other half. I only need 1 app running at a time. My desire is to take notes in evernote while viewing the web, and likewise, search the web while viewing my notes.

Thanks very much. It didn't do exactly what I was hoping - to run local apps side by side, but it does enable me to view a website on one side while taking notes on other. Appreciate the help and direction.
