I was always able to save my Gmail from my iPad to my desktop and now I can’t. Is there a way I can save it now

You mean you have lost the Mail App or the GMail App? If you go to the furthest right Home Page you will see the App Library. You can then drag the App back to your main Home Screen.

No, I guess I’m not explaining it right. I didn’t lose either of them. I was always able to save my email to where all the apps go on one of the pages. There was a box with an arrow on the top and a menu would come and it asked if I wanted to save the email on the page or whatever you call it. It’s not there anymore.
Is there anyway I can open it with safari?
It’s the home screen that I want to save it to.

The box with the arrow is the Share button. It doesn’t appear in the Mail App though. You can’t just save something to the home screen loose as it were. It would have to be saved to a suitable App.
