Remember to hatch your second that way u can breed two bones together n get your display egg! It's always best to have two of a kind

OMG, OMG, OMG!!! I just got my first silver treasure dragon! It took sooooo long, but it finally happened! I used snow and mine in the EBI
I guess I was due since I just got rejected for another job

YAAAAAAAAAY!!! I'm finally breeding the elusive opal dragon!!!!

I followed the advice to do some redecorating on one of my islands. Made the seasonal dragons surroundings all ready for Halloween (little disappointed, same decorations as last year). Put mud x lava back into the breeding caves, first attempt regular cave, another mud, first attempt breeding island, also mud, so I sped it up and tried again on the island and BAM!

*doing the happy dance!*

I can finally continue trying for the silver

Mornamoo is right. Display eggs does not count toward your shrine

Oh great excitement, I have 173 gems which I have saved hard over a month or so. Should I upgrade my cave or hold off and save 50 more to do the island first?

I'll say upgrade the Island first, that's mostly where you'll get the long-breeding dragons and it look awesome.
