I got most of mine with sandstorm and scorch. That combo gave me my silver last month!

I'll say upgrade the Island first, that's mostly where you'll get the long-breeding dragons and it look awesome.

I need both dodo n silver

Both of those took me a while to get. I spent about 4 1/2 weeks straight breeding chrome and earth trying to get the dodo but with no luck. I finally got it cause I had to stop cause I was trying for a limited dragon--I don't remember which one.

Dodo scorch gave me a total of 8 Olympus dragons. 3 bronze, 4 silver and 1 gold.

No eggs don't help for the shrines - you have to feed your dragons to level 10 and then 15 before they count towards the shrine.

Yes, once you have purchase the shrine, all level10, 15 and 20 dragons will count toward the shrine even it is in the hibernation cave or sold it.

I got two Silver Olympus Dragons using Air + Crystal.

Took me long enough but I finally got my Bone Dragon. Lol!

There are a lot of combos for the Rainbow, but it doesn't really matter what you use. You just need luck. A lot of luck. And even more patience!
