Thanks to all for the assist on breeding the butterfly dragon, as I finally got my first today from firefly+ air and my first rainbow from snow+seaweed. So happy!!!!

Now on to the solstice and to keep trying for the pearl.

I have breeding à level 7 mud and à level 10 blazing in my EBI. I have à breedingtime of 23.5 hours. Do i have my Solstice then? .

Just back tracked a couple of pages and read blazing and earth - thought what the heck, give it a try after 7 lava and countless blazings and mud - what do I have to loose - dragonvale happy dance drum role - solstice on epic - yay! Thanks for the hot tip. Love this forum.

24 hr incubation with earth/blazing combo????? Can someone tell me what this could be?

Are sure 24hrs? Maybe it's 23.5hrs, that cost 24gems to speed up. Then it's a solstice!

There are no certain ways to breed a rare, it just comes down to luck so I'd say it is a Sun or moon as they are the only rare dragons with a 24hr breeding time in the cave, other than the crystal dragon which is 24 hours but that requires earth and lightening elements. If you only have the normal cave it will be Sun or Moon. The breeding time for solstice is 23.5 hours. Not 24. But close CONGRATULATIONS on your rare dragon!

There should always 4 element present to breed a rainbow, moon and sun. and all of them are 48hrs not 24hrs in normal cave.

Hey ren05, you need to visit the forum more often. So many dv players have this one already. Happy breeding, I only just gone mine an hour ago with blazing and earth. Others have used blazing and mud, others blazing and lava and others blazing and dodo. Hope that helps.
