Hi everyone, just read through the last (felt like) millions of pages since I was here a couple of days ago, haha. Don't really have the time to respond to any but just tried to catch up a bit to not fall completely behind

Thought I'd share my recent luck:

After a couple of days of breeding Blazing x Mud and Mud x Blazing in both caves I finally have my first Panlong breeding in my normal cave! (Blazing x Mud - both level 10)
I got it last night after speeding up just the last hour of ANOTHER Blazing (so many Blazings, a few Muds, a Lava, a Fog...) and was very surprised and happy to see that 36 hour notification!
BUT, even better, my Mud, level 4 (at that level in preparation for trying for another Sandstorm later) x Blazing, level 10, on the EBI finished breeding a Mud overnight and after a little deliberation (contemplated trying for something else) I put them back in the opposite (Blazing x Mud) order too and now I have my second Panlong breeding as well!!!!! Sooo excited!

Also, I have some news:
I just got a 48 hour breed time with Bluefire x Storm on my EBI!!! (at just before 10am here)
I used that combination as it was my successful Moon combination and I have my fingers crossed for a second one. Then again, as you can see from my signature I also got a Sun from it AND the reverse order so I'm almost resigned to getting ANOTHER Sun, heh.

Oh and OF COURSE it turned out to be ANOTHER Sun, so now I will have 4 in my park (sold one previously) whilst my Moon and Rainbow are sooo very lonesome without partners, heh.
One day... *wisful sigh*

So I have a Sun in my hatchery with 19 hours to go, a Panlong breeding in my normal cave with 20 hours till it can go in the hatchery and another Panlong breeding on my EBI with 29 hours till it can go into the hatchery...so I am certainly not complaining but I am REALLY struggling with my patience to not use a bucket of gems to speed SOMETHING (anything! haha) up

P.S saw some more talk of day vs. night with the Sun/Moon dragons but I'm pretty sure I got all my (true) rares in daylight hours (+8 GMT) so not sure if really does matter?!

I just got my first 36 hour egg. Mud+blazing, both level 10, in epic cave. Not my fire silver shrine but now I have no food lol. I see a lot of air dragons in my future!

Welcome back and congratulations on both of you panlong. I sadly have not achieved mine yet so if I may ask a quick question, the second time you put the blazing and mud back in, the mud was level 4 and the blazing was level 10, correct?

No pan long so far, I have blazing + mud running constantly on the epic island, and try fog + lava and fog + bone on the other breeding cave. I will sing in your choir, "we who don't like lava's, hate them". But, I try to be patient and work on my island (between family, proper work) instead. I'm quite happy with the layout now I guess, except I miss one island.

Brooklyn, sounds lovely in my DV-ears, my usual aren't that happy, because of the time I would spend on an update.

And the pan long, do you think its just like the reindeer and bone, that it only will stick for a while?

I would have to say yes I think panlong will be around for a short period of time like reindeer , hopefully BFS will leave him around for a while but I don't think so , so I think if anyone doesn't have a panlong dragon yet they probably have about a month more seeing as the specials don't last that long (like 2 months total time there're around I believe). Breed on!!!!

I'm gonna be so frustrated at the panlong... Those blazing and mud dragons take too long te breed and hatch, and I definitely want 2 adult panlongs and a baby :/
At least it's something else to do after 2 weeks of sandstorm breeding with no result...

On another note, the panlong is pretty much a godgift for maxing out your shrines isn't it. Sure it takes long to breed, but once you have 4 you can keep on breeding more, and leveling them to 10 or 15 helps 4 shrines at once! You save out on 75% of the food required!

Someone has mention that the moon dragon has to be breed at 9pm pst. So if my country is 8 hours ahead, does that mean I have to breed my moon dragon at 2pm local time?

I got my sun at 4pm which is 12 midnight pst.

I read from another forum that it is based on our local time.

I found this within the thread. There are good suggestions for new gamers. In hindsight I wish I upgraded the hatchery instead of speeding the iincubation. Good breeding.

I got a gold in the coliseum with a level four hybrid. If you have shrines pay attention to the orb colour on adults when choosing juniors for coliseum as well as coliseum colours needed.

Since my DV crashes constantly (still) I spend a lot of time looking at your guys parks. Very, very impressive. There are some really creative folks here. I can do this for a long time - for some reason my game doesn't crash when I'm visiting others. And since my list of friends has gotten so long (thanks!) there are a lot of sites to visit. It's actually become a significant revenue producer as I go ahead and click on the three hats on each site for the $8,500 each. It comes to about $750,000 every day.

I know that the game producer wants this to have a social component, which is a great idea. One idea I had is that it would improve things beyond the gem a day gift if we could actually collect gold coins for each other. At least when you click on a hat have it empty that habitat for the owner.

to those who've hatched a rainbow dragon: can you tell me the successful combination you used? moon & sun was a slice of cake but i'm seriously having the hardest time getting a fricking rainbow dragon

I got a rainbow dragon first time by breeding lava (lv. 8) and fog (lv. 6). Really annoyed cos I was trying for a panglong lol ):
