Blazing on left and mud on the right. But we're level 8. Hopefully I can stay patient without the breeding island for 36 hours. It was the EBI by the way.

I've bred all My moons during day, so I really don't believe in that theory. In that case some people that lives above the artic cirkle shouldn't be able to make suns, because they do not see the sun this time a year...

to those who've hatched a rainbow dragon: can you tell me the successful combination you used? moon & sun was a slice of cake but i'm seriously having the hardest time getting a fricking rainbow dragon

I got 2 rainbows seaweed/firefly gene theory and 1 rainbow blazin/mud. Other reported combos that I can think of off the top of my head are blue fire/crystal, tree/scorch and flower/storm. Breed same pairs for quite a few tries..if not working switch the order and try. It's all about patience. :thumbs:

Also with the colosseum lately for me (probably last 2 months) I have had only a few that were not gold using straight forward elements and not hybrids. Don't know if this is working well for anyone else but figure it like that and just 30 days alone is 150 gems. You have to have patience not to spend them though. Michelin taught me that. I just don't know what happened the other day when the new dragon came out and I wasted all those gems. Lesson learned for me though...speeding things up for me results in even a longer wait til I get what I want. Lol

What are you trying to save up for?

Do you think the Panlong is a one time deal?
I mean it could return every year for chinese new year, but the entry in the shop clearly says that it comes around once every 12 years (year of the dragon). I wonder if it's 4 elements are an indication that this one is special

Maybe they will let it stay year round since it is the "year" of the dragon. We can only hope! I want to get one more so when I get high enough for shrines, I can take a big chunk out of them!

Lol well...I couldn't get the rares I wanted and once I stopped buying/using gems they started popping up in a few days. Again first day panlong comes out what to I do? Get ansi and blow through 70 gems...for what? Lava and another rainbow! Yikes! Hopefully since I quit using them again my panlongs will come soon. Patience is a virtue in the truest frm when it comes to my luck and getting what I want.

Has anyone received received the "...and others" message recently?

I'm asking because I just opened up DragonVale and got notification that 4 friends had given me gems. I clicked ok another message popped up immediately with another gift notification.

Timing or fix?

I don't think I have received it since the update but not sure...but I haven't been receiving as many gems lately either as I usually do I have noticed more of the notifications popping up lately too, but only with maybe one or two listed. I was starting to wonder the same thing. I am still however closing it from running in the background everytime I leave the game.

Brooklyn do you think you can please tweet them and see if this was something done from them or just coincidence?

Awwww I just got a 48 HR from blazing + mud trying for panlong so ive lost a cave to try in but it 11.50 pm uk time now so hoping for a rainbow (as someone else did earlier) or a moon because it's night ( if there is anything to this time thing) if it's another sun I'll scream ! so far this is my second nighttime 48 HR breed so hopefully it's my second moon fingers and toes crossed haha x

It was mine that I sped up using gems for nothing haha. Mine was a rainbow. Guess it could be anything with the way this game goes though. Good luck! Hope it's not another sun! Congrats! :thumbs:
