Also with the colosseum lately for me (probably last 2 months) I have had only a few that were not gold using straight forward elements and not hybrids. Don't know if this is working well for anyone else but figure it like that and just 30 days alone is 150 gems. You have to have patience not to spend them though. Michelin taught me that. I just don't know what happened the other day when the new dragon came out and I wasted all those gems. Lesson learned for me though...speeding things up for me results in even a longer wait til I get what I want. Lol

What are you trying to save up for?

Well I don't have the gem tree yet, and if I get a lot of gems I could go on a breeding frenzy until I got the right dragon

I would have to say yes I think panlong will be around for a short period of time like reindeer , hopefully BFS will leave him around for a while but I don't think so , so I think if anyone doesn't have a panlong dragon yet they probably have about a month more seeing as the specials don't last that long (like 2 months total time there're around I believe). Breed on!!!!

My guess and hope is that Panlong will be available for a whole year. The whole year of the dragon. It says something to that effect in the description and I think that would make the most sense. He is too special to be around for only a month. Think about it, the next Halloween is only 9 months away, so they could bring bone back in 8. The next year of the dragon is in 12 years...who will still be playing DV?

That doesn't mean I'm not trying to get my second one ASAP just to be safe.

Please, please, please let it be a fix. I've been waking during the night too to make sure I don't get that message. Would be so pleased if it was a fix so we didn't have to feel guilty about not knowing where a gem came from. Cross fingers!

Me too and I am sooooo exhausted from it. Besides if my husband catches me I'll probably be sleeping outside from no on!

No pan long so far, I have blazing + mud running constantly on the epic island, and try fog + lava and fog + bone on the other breeding cave. I will sing in your choir, "we who don't like lava's, hate them". But, I try to be patient and work on my island (between family, proper work) instead. I'm quite happy with the layout now I guess, except I miss one island.

Brooklyn, sounds lovely in my DV-ears, my usual aren't that happy, because of the time I would spend on an update.

And the pan long, do you think its just like the reindeer and bone, that it only will stick for a while?

Me too..same thing. I'm hoping for my 2 panlongs too...

Someone has mention that the moon dragon has to be breed at 9pm pst. So if my country is 8 hours ahead, does that mean I have to breed my moon dragon at 2pm local time?

I got my sun at 4pm which is 12 midnight pst.

I read from another forum that it is based on our local time.

That is definitely NOT true. 5 of my moons started breeding at around 7 am PST, 1 at around 5:30 pm PST. I wish I could get another sun

Omg omg omg!!! I just put crystal and ice in my normal cave and I just got a 48 hour!!!! My first 48 hour!!!!! Yay!!!

Yay! Congrats. It's a wonderful feeling isn't it? :thumbs: I remember my heart dropped when I got my first. I had to kerp looking. I didn't believe it.

I got 2 rainbows seaweed/firefly gene theory and 1 rainbow blazin/mud. Other reported combos that I can think of off the top of my head are blue fire/crystal, tree/scorch and flower/storm. Breed same pairs for quite a few tries..if not working switch the order and try. It's all about patience. :thumbs:

That explains why I can't get a second one...no patience. There are too many seconds I want: rainbow, sun, Panlong, sandstorm, frost fire.

Strangely, I've been blessed with blue fires. Got my first one first try and all the others on accident. Go figure.

Hi everyone, just read through the last (felt like) millions of pages since I was here a couple of days ago, haha. Don't really have the time to respond to any but just tried to catch up a bit to not fall completely behind

Thought I'd share my recent luck:

After a couple of days of breeding Blazing x Mud and Mud x Blazing in both caves I finally have my first Panlong breeding in my normal cave! (Blazing x Mud - both level 10)
I got it last night after speeding up just the last hour of ANOTHER Blazing (so many Blazings, a few Muds, a Lava, a Fog...) and was very surprised and happy to see that 36 hour notification!
BUT, even better, my Mud, level 4 (at that level in preparation for trying for another Sandstorm later) x Blazing, level 10, on the EBI finished breeding a Mud overnight and after a little deliberation (contemplated trying for something else) I put them back in the opposite (Blazing x Mud) order too and now I have my second Panlong breeding as well!!!!! Sooo excited!



Oh and OF COURSE it turned out to be ANOTHER Sun, so now I will have 4 in my park (sold one previously) whilst my Moon and Rainbow are sooo very lonesome without partners, heh.
One day... *wisful sigh*

So I have a Sun in my hatchery with 19 hours to go, a Panlong breeding in my normal cave with 20 hours till it can go in the hatchery and another Panlong breeding on my EBI with 29 hours till it can go into the hatchery...so I am certainly not complaining but I am REALLY struggling with my patience to not use a bucket of gems to speed SOMETHING (anything! haha) up

P.S saw some more talk of day vs. night with the Sun/Moon dragons but I'm pretty sure I got all my (true) rares in daylight hours (+8 GMT) so not sure if really does matter?!

I'm jealous and all I can say about your panlongs right now except CONGRATS! Lol

How do you breed the sun dragon, moon dragon, rainbow dragon, and panlong dragon??? Also the sandstorm and frostfire. Someone please help me. I have been trying and trying. I need help!!!

Maybe they will let it stay year round since it is the "year" of the dragon. We can only hope! I want to get one more so when I get high enough for shrines, I can take a big chunk out of them!

Yeh, I hope. I don't blame you there! These good things always happen when I'm done with things lol. I guess it will help though if I decide to go for the gold on some of the other shrines. Thing that sucks is I'm quite aways into my air/water gold shrine. Oh well.

Ok yes...the gem tree was finally the first thing I didn't have to hurry and buy gems for. Lol!!! No patience eh'! Like I said when I use my gems to get what I want I get everything but. Lol. You are too funny! Don't get me wrong though...I sooooo want to use my gems...I just keep chanting, patience, patience cause I know they will all be lost if I do it and I'll be back to waiting again to get what I want.

Lol yep! I just kept breeding the same exact pair once I got like my rainbow until I got another. Figured if it gave one it would give two. That worked with everything except that 2nd sun.

I did too! Well I didn't get first on first try but it wasn't as hard for me as a lot of others..the rest came trying to get something else and they sure are good money makers, besides I like the look of them.
