Just got home from work. Throughout the day in my breaks, and any other time I can get, I do a quick sweep of my islands. Just realized that at some stage today I have placed a reindeer dragon in an earth event for the colosseum - oh dear! This may be the very first time I wont get a gold or silver. a bronze means no gems from memory!

I had a scorch and chrome egg today and kept them until I had the time to hatch them both at the same time. I have only just leveled them both up to 10. I immediately put them in my epic breeding cave, chrome the scorch - and what do you know, it's a ruby. Strange, thats exactly how I got my first one. Really, really happy. Now for 1 more gold and then malachite. Definitely doing the dragonvale happy dance.

Thanks Marie, I did a quick sweep of a few friends islands tonight, and I saw that beauty waiting to hatch - its a great feeling - o yeah! Kind of makes the forge feel okay!

I'm so sorry for you. Unfortunately the odds are always higher on the first and last day. Don't give up because you are sure to get her. If I got one today, and others have listed they have been able to breed one in the last day or two, it's possible. I'll wish the wizard to visit your islands with his magic wand. I just want to clarify that Gold, Dodo, Malachite, and Pollen are all here to stay permanently??

The reason I'm asking is because I want/need to focus on breeding another Panlong so I can start a "Panlong Army" for money and the shrine grind..

Yes they are all permanent.

Does anybody know if chrome+scorch gives ran ow,gold,moon or sun? Because I think I have a had a 48 hour one I don't remember because now its at 24 hours

Thanks Di, I will take a break and try to breed Pollen and Malachite.. I will wait until the time when the wizard visit my island 
