Is there any way to guarantee a gold medal? Tired of always getting a silver in water event, I decided to make a little sacrifice and put my best dragon, a 14 level panlong, but still I got silver!!! That's dissapointing. I've tried with Water, Fog, Swamp, Mud, Iceberg and now Panlong and always get silver. I just want to get my water achievement (the only one I'm still missing) and move on but now I really don't know if its worth to keep trying, I mean, after all its only an achievement, there's no big gain. What do you think? Thanks in advance.

When I use hybrids I get silver.. So I stick to the pure breeds...

I'm still of the impression that dragons have a greater chance of winning if it's their first try, and less when they repeat. But the impressions of people seem pretty diverse making me believe that it's just very random.
At least I've never had bronze with a level 10 dragon of the correct typing. It's always silver or gold.

By continuing to breed and feed Chromes, my Metal Shrine is now Silver, and my Air Shrine is only 6 from Gold!

Like the game there is no guarantee, but you may want to try with a level 15 pan, fog, iceberg etc.

OK is time for me to contribute back to the community. My next target is to get a Gem Tree with Gem Tree i can contribute more to my dragonvalers friends. another 50 gems to get the gem tree. little bit more. hope my coliseum event will be gold the next couple of days.

Hmm. I also have these as combos for a rainbow: tree/scorch, snow/scorch, seaweed/firefly, blazing/mud and fog/lava.

I'm sure there are some better and newer ones now. I just don't know them. I used to keep a running list for all the rares as I was trying to get them for myself and my kids. But my kids don't play as much now, so I just let them come to me when they decide they want one of the hard to get dragons.

Thanks! I've been using blazing/mud for weeks now! I'll use the other combos and see what happens. by the way, just tried seaweed/blaze and got 1 hr.

Well finally after 24hrs.of research and $60 worth of money going on to my debit card I managed.to fix the problem and dv is.updating so now I can say bye bye clover dragon and hello metal dragons once it updates

Hi all, its been a while, am hoping to get my ipad back this week all fixed.
In the interim i have now got hubby hooked!!! hes not terribly social so you wont see him floating around on here. He has been active since I broke my pad and hes doing very well. So although he's not a forum person he's another addict we can add to the long list of DV addicts. And just quietly this way i have been getting my fill while my ipad 's been getting fixed.

I thought it was great too. I usually like to see the movie before reading the book. Am a big Stephen King fan and Michael Crichton and have been so disappointed with the big screen versions, sitting there thinking "that wasn't in the book", or "that's not the way that happened" that I end up not enjoying the movie.

Came home and got the trilogy right away, am part way through the second book now. Thought they were actually fairly true to the first book. Am probably going to be mad at myself for reading the second 2 books before the movie, but just can't stop reading!

I don't blame you there. It drives me crazy but I've usually read the book first. Lol Yep...they were like that...once you start there's no stopping. :thumbs:
