Digitizer needs calibrated

My iPad 3rd gen has between 1/4" and 1/2" error on the digitizer. How can I calibrate this (I am stumped and can't find an answer). It is really painful trying to full screen and return in the YouTube app.

Take it to the apple store. These things have little ability to be adjusted by an end user.
