Default mail app

Is there a way to change the default email app from Apple Mail to something else? Ive started using the Gmail app on my iPad, which I really like, but if I email from a link in another app, it launches Mail instead. Would prefer to only use one rather than set up Mail as well.

No. You can not change any of the default apps on the iPad. Sorry.

Shame. Doesn't seem much point having any alternative Mail app. Will have to go back to using it. I wonder if this will change in a future iOS update.
