Mail app have to be default?

Is there any way to change the default mail app. I use Boxer for my email since I have multiple accounts. But I need to keep Mail active so I can send things from other apps. I know I can't delete it, but if I turn it off, then if can't send emails from within other apps.

Sorry, that's not possible. If you want to send emails from other apps such as Photos e.g., you will be directed to the built in Mail app. It can't be changed on a stock iPad.
