Cydia won't work

I have run jailbreak on my iPad (first Gen) a couple of times. When I try to run Cydia it won't do anything.

What should I do? Any Ideas would be appreciated.

I am running iOS 5

I am using redsn0w 0.9.9b7 and ipsw iPad1,1_5.0_9A334_Restore.ipsw

Jailbreak at this point does me no good. I miss all the Cydia apps I had on here before upgrading.

If your getting the white cydia icon, then you would need to reboot it via the redsnow app. After that it should work just fine.

That's what tethered jailbreaking is all about I'm afraid!
