Battery Question

This is my first IPAD, and I wanted to know if in the past when people bought their IPAD if their battery comes charged or it needs to be charged before use

Hi there,I remember having my iPad having a partial charge when I took it out of the box. It was really nice to have that iPad battery up and ready so I could play with it a bit and not have to wait for 4 hours til it charged fully.
