Apps won't download

I have been trying to finish downloading apps on our new Ipad 2. At first, they were downloading just fine, and now they have stopped downloading. It used to say "waiting" and now it doesn't say anything. However, when I get a new app, it downloads right away. I've turned off the computer, synced it to itunes and reset it. My apps still won't download. What do I do?

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

Have you tried tapping on the app, sometimes this will kickstart it and it will load. Also have you tried deleting these apps? Long press the app until it jiggles then press the X to delete, then confirm. You can then try a redownload if this works. Let us know.

The moderator's reply is what you want to do first. They know their stuff let me tell ya. By now your issue could very well be resolved.
your referring to updating apps correct? You can purchase with no problem but when updates are indicated your glitch occurs . An issue I had exactly like what I described was just straightened out for me with the help of the iTunes store support people. Good people for sure. I had something going on I could not fix and either could a genius bar appointment. It appeared to be a simple mix up of Id's and pw's from 2 different accounts but it took support to fix it for me. ItunesStore messed with it for two days then gave me the go ahead to sign in and update now and I did. They resolved it . How ? They investigated and straightened it out. Thank you Mahesh and Daniela at iTunes support.
