What's new

Airport City Trading Centre

Wish I had read this 10 minutes ago. Just finished the quest. Was hoping to build another post office but....

Congrats.
MY LATEST UPDATE. looking for 2 MARKING MACHINES. Golden postage stamp recieved and 8 planes landed. Run oit of my lost mail with 11 cutters remainng. LOL. will be checking soon. Flying hard to complete the PO.

If anyone who recieves my marking mech from Abs can return it, it would be a great thing. Looks like very less people can send that and mail sorter.

I returned it to you but I was told you can only return an item if you have it in your list to gift. Let me know if it worked. Wabbitgirl

What does Baba need? You told me to send anything but you may need something specific now.

You have completed the quest?

Yes easy one this time. I purchased a few cutters and letters to help. Didn't need to buy them really.

At least I can get back to flying for the hydroponic greenhouse and needle now:)

Long distance items please. My sons Airport is called "Rigby's city" He can't gift anymore as he's been unfairly penalised.

Does anyone understand fully the rating system within the world map?

I am currently rated number two on my map for flights to the North Observatory.

I believe that we will be rewarded with an unspecified number of tokens for a "high rank" against any particular destination and this is measured each week. These tokens then contribute towards the purchase of special planes.
I don't know what is considered a high rank? Is it No 1 or 2 or what? I would expect that maybe the top 3 or so people for each destination will get tokens each week, but this is only a guess.
Also, are the special planes really worth having? Is it just that they complete flights in 10% less time - it seems like a lot of effort for little improvement, especially when we are always having to buy and sell our planes for different quests.
Will these weekly events run from Monday to Monday as the first event was launched with the new update last Monday night (I think)?

Finally, it's curious that whilst I seem to be currently ranked at No 2 on the North Observatory destination on my iPad, when my nephew looked for my name on the same destination on the map on his iPhone 5, I am nowhere in the rankings. His listing shows completely different players. Do they operate different listings for different platforms or different countries or continents? If they do, then maybe this is giving us a better chance of achieving a decent weekly rank. If we were competing against every player in the world, then the odds of success are clearly much worse.
It would be interesting to know whether my name (Nuttyuk) appears on anyone else's listing for this specific destination - especially if you are playing on an iPad 2.

Incidentally, I have received 6 of the special (silver) tokens for the completion of a rocket flight and these are now listed under the new tab in my warehouse.

This message is primarily to encourage debate...the forum has been so quiet for so long.

Nutty

Has anyone updated to apple IOS 7?

I haven't been successful yet. Presumably because of the high volume of people trying to update.
If you have, is it ok and does it adversely affect any apps...particularly airport city?

Thanks,
Nutty

I'm on iPad 2 but I don't see you. I don't see anyone!

AC seems to be working ok so far on my iPad, although the iPad has developed a nasty habit of going back to the lock screen if you move it too suddenly. In the process of installing IOS 7 on my phone and hoping it will unlock my game, but I suppose that's expecting too much.

please send goal posts, benches or catalyst to Troglodyte69 (iPad) Tribez u1fmj7 & spare props or catalyst to Troglodyte96 (Blocked-iPhone) Tribez ms615p thanks

Other changes include a new Globe icon where the old Gift icon used to be. The Globe icon takes you to a world map with all current flight destinations. This appears to be part of the additional upgrade "Complete the most flights on select destinations in a week to receive tokens that allow you to purchase special high-speed planes."
New Planes have a 10% increase in speed and include the:
Powerful Propeller Driven S1 - 10 Gold tokens and 100 silver tokens
Turboprop S1 - 10 Gold tokens and 100 silver tokens
Jet S1 - 10 Gold tokens and 100 silver tokens
Delta S1 - 10 Gold tokens and 100 silver tokens
Powerful Delta S1 - 10 Gold tokens and 100 silver tokens
Jumbo S1 - 10 Gold tokens and 100 silver tokens
IMHO these planes aren't worth the effort. A 60-minute flight only takes 54 minutes? Wow!!! A five-hour flight only takes four-and-a-half hours? Big deal!!!
started this quest with nine Jets because I've been working on getting all the stars for the Space Needle destinations. So I flew my nine Jets to Madagascar. After I get those three stars I'll sell the Jets and buy nine Turboprops to get the stars for Fiji ... then sell those and buy the nine Deltas to fly to Easter Island. I wouldn't be able to do that if I invested in these new "plus" planes. UNLESS GI lets us store them in our Warehouse so we didn't have to keep buying and selling the same planes over and over again. Only then it would be worth it.

received eight silver tokens for coming in first for a Prometheus launch.

Found this on another site it might be of some help

Your showing number two on my iPad... Congratulations

Hmmm.... Did not come. Still worth trying.
I need nothing on iPad except PO items.

Yesterday, I dreamt that I had completed the quest. :D
First PO open and another will be soon. Got another plane landing special and will use it after iOS 7 updates.
