Got an interesting mail from GI today regarding the "username" and un-visitable neighbour issue...

Here is your coupon for restoring your game profile. The code is #xxxxxxnnnn . To redeem the code open the game → tap the button with 3 people in the bottom menu → press another button with 3 people in the drop-up menu → select the Add Friend tab and redeem the code in the input field. Please, ensure a stable Internet connection and keep in mind that the code can be used only once.
I would appreciate if you let me know of your results.

Anyone else had one of these? Did it work? (I'm not able to connect to internet with iPad from my current location to try).

Just finished visiting. 2 hours and 15 minutes today and I haven't been able to finish gifting yet because I don't have avatars. Of course I'll keep trying throughout the day but this is absolutely ridiculous! I actually read the paper and took a shower all while I waited for it to connect to 1 airport!

And to make matters worse, I only got 10 shears out of all those visits and none of those would cut the one tulip I need to finish this quest!!!!

On the bright side.. I've taken advantage of the game crash bug to send out 40 shears

I replaced the actual code with xx's and n's to prevent someone trying the real one and suffering a problem. I also suspect the code is unique to me.
Going to try it now... Will report back in a few mins...

Killed app, restarted.

No change to friends list - still see username and most unvisitable.

BUT... The city I have is NOT MY CITY!!!

I wonder whose city you have? Did you get any other good stuff you didn't have? Did you get any additional coins and $? Did you lose $ or property or planes? So much to figure out!!!!
