You should be able to visit all your neighbours daily but the game problems are not allowing this for most players at the moment.

My experience is that I can harvest gifts during visits to 7 or 8 of the neighbours each day (so once you've exhausted the 7 or 8, there isn't any tangible gain from further visits apart from checking out your neighbours' progress which might help judge what gifts to send them).

The ability to harvest from your 7 or 8 neighbours' games, and to send a gift (to up to 20 neighbours) does indeed replenish every 24 hours. I think that the 24 hours counts down from the time that you send your first gift each day (not from the time of the last one sent, so you don't have to send them in one session). There is a screen that tells you how many gifts you have available to send but when this is zero you are not shown the count-down clock to the next 20.

I think that this is correct...but whether my explanation is clear is another matter!

Was about to clarify that! The number you can 'collect' from depends on your Friend level, indicated by the number in the heart shown when you visit someone. I *think* it is 2 higher than this number but not entirely sure.

Yay!! I still need 2 orchids and 1 lily. Wish I could get credit for a bouquet of mums. Seems like they're the only flowers growing around my airport! Always knew I didn't have a green thumb.

Interesting, I just finished building the 2nd merry go round ten I got the credit for the 2nd teddy bear set. Odd. I have never seen the reward tied to the finishing of a collection.
