Hi all,

Ok, question about launch etiquette...

I had started a launch. Here's how it stood before the "incident" occurred that I'm going to whine about:

Me (pdxsk2) - 698 points
Player A - 616 points
Player B - 200 points

That's 1514 points towards a 2000 point launch.

Then in comes Player C....a person I now am frankly upset with!

Player C throws in 720 points! Stealing my 1st place....(2 bolts at 360 pts each)

I've read this happened to others before on here, so im not the first to experience it.

Just want to know if you all agree it was very rude to do that? Or...my fault, I should have paid more attention?

I would love to have read the original version of your whine!!! This is absolutely rude behavior and I would remove the hijacker from your friends list immediately!

Weren't the rest of the places to be taken in order of joining?

I always thought that first place was to go to the launch starter but then the rest of the places were up for grabs.

I've had the same,just delete them from your list. I also had no greenies for watching the video so I comforted myself by stealing 5 instead. I may never upgrade at this rate as quests now seem to take hundreds of notes to complete!

Yes, I had the moderator edit my posting! I suppose my language in my initial post wasn't appropriate. I'm glad the moderator didn't delete the post in total. I will watch my language in the future . My mom used to wash out my mouth with a bar of soap when I was a child and said things I shouldn't have...ah, childhood memories...

A few months ago my daughter signed on to Facebook on my ipad. This immediately resulted in A/C taking her profile picture and using it as my in game avatar. We tried everything we could think of but the picture stayed. Yesterday daughter #2 signed in to her fb on my ipad and it appears her profile pic is now my avatar. (Some building by night I think).
This is very irritating, since nobody ever gave permission to use these pictures.

But it gets much worse! It now seems daughter #2 has picked up a whole bunch of 'new friends' on her fb account! These are all friends of #1 and it seems all this information has just crossed over from one fb account to the other!
How does this happen? What is GI doing with our personal information? I know most of you are using fake accounts but what about all the other information on our devices? Are they tapping in to this?

I'm no computer geek so I'm a bit gob smacked here. Any thoughts?

That's what I thought too. Don't have to worry about hijackers anymore. Failed another launch over the weekend. Had 1160 points in and forgot about it. Am going to have to start setting an alarm!

It's a courtesy, especially when launching with neighbours on the forum.
