It's so nice to have friends of such fine taste and upbringing! Will be back this evening! Hope you're enjoying France. I envy those of you who live in the UK. You have much easier access to the rest of Europe than I do - more choice of flights/airlines, discount flights, much shorter flying times, etc.

I decided that I need to be more methodical if I'm ever going to figure out who receives my gifts. And because I'd like to know who gets mine, I'm going to post who I receive gifts from and who I send them to for the next while. I hope that, eventually, I'll be able to send 20 gifts each day that actually arrive even though they may not be to the same neighbours who send gifts to me . . . At first I thought that if I got a gift from you, you would get one from me but that doesn't seem to be the case. And of course, I'll keep visiting my longstanding neighbours.

It's a beautiful part of the country. There are ads at the top of this page and the ad today is 'Travel the Canadian Rockies by Train.' Honestly, I'm not kidding!
