Anybody know whether you ever get a collectible item from clicking on neighbor christmas trees, pyramids, etc.? Or do you only get the 5 coins?

That's annoying, I've been sending passengers to Capt Flop from 96, just sent some more. I wonder if anyone is getting my gifts from there?

I got Tribez running.

I have played Tribez for about two years. It's a great game and I've had only a very few minor snags over all the months. It grows significantly and I have six islands now. I don't play much currently as there hasn't been an update with new quests for a couple of months. I think they have finally run out of new ideas but I'm still hopeful that something else might come along soon.
Personally, I think it's a great game and it has given me hours of fun at little cost. it is worth buying a few crystals when they are on offer. The down side is that there are no means of interacting with friends and I don't think that you can visit other people's islands

Tribez is certainly a lot less stressful than airport, but like you I haven't played for some time as it becomes a little boring after a while. They did an update a little while back, but I haven't bothered to check it out, there aren't enough hours in the day.

Like you I play Tribez as well, level 76 with six islands, Funny how GI doesn't seem to have many problems with the game,
And yet the game seems more complex then airport city...

Folks, new to iPF but old hand at Airport City and getting screwed by GI. Started a second game on iPhone after lvl 40 on iPad. Caused all sorts of problems, some that haven't been fixed yet. Lost iPhone game ENTIRELY and they had to give me a restore code that worked the second time. Took 13 days and cost me beating the space challenge a few weeks ago. Add me on both devices and I'll monitor this and the launch forum to trade and launch. LtCol Rehab (iPad) and LtColRehab2 (iPhone).

Accepted rehab2. Didn't see a request from rehab though.
Nice to see a new face with lots of experience on the forum. There's been a lot of frustration by many players. I personally lost my entire game (level 40), GI send me 2 codes which I couldn't use because my add friend function doesn't work. Then they decided I had been cheating and pretty much dumped me. I now have a new game going but I'm frustrated because I can't add friends, see others' launches and send/receive very few gifts. GI is not very helpful to say the least....
