In the garden in the UK we have found something we haven't had for 7 years the Sun but its going to be stormy this weekend so we may be inside I have even bought a BBQ to put together so it's probably my fault the storm is coming or the fact there are so many white legs exposed in the UK causing the sun to be reflected back.
Have booked a holiday in Spain in August to ensure sunshine but UK is so nice at the moment maybe next year time for a holiday in the UK..so risky...

Got an email today from a friend who lives in Thailand complaining that the temperature had dropped to 30 degrees and he was cold.

This is similar to what I'm dealing with as you know. And maybe you changed thetime ONLY ONCE when you travelled, I actually never did! So I think there's more to it. I have been looking on other forums and people are having problems everywhere. Some have been told to restart their games but if they keep this rubbish up they will lose a lot of players.
Maybe it has something to do with the free greens but then why are some people singled out? And taking the greens was not cheating! They wanted us to post on Facebook and we did so we got the reward. They never send out a notice to tell people we couldn't keep doing that and they got their advertising on Facebook which is what they wanted!

Are they now saying you can't touch the time settings on your ipad when you travel? Really?
I wonder if I can get my ipad analyzed to prove I didn't touch the settings.

This is soooo frustrating. We should get together as a group and come up with a plan maybe? Any workable ideas anyone?

What exactly do they mean by modifying the account data? They're not very explicit are they! Do they mean you have more green notes than you should? Thats their fault! admittedly we all took advantage of it but its hardly modifying account data.

Like I said before we are supposed to be blocked ie no social privileges and no special offers. Then why is there a 50% off sale offered to me right now? And I'm still getting new neighbours and some gifts.
They can't even get their punishment right!!

The point that I made to GI this week, is that my iPad (and iPhone) automatically changes the time when I travel through overseas' zones to the local time as soon as there's a WiFi signal to it. I don't bother trying to understand how, but it does it and for most apps this is appropriate and right. It resets to home time when I return. I don't know whether this can be manually overridden but why would anyone need to go to this inconvenience for one game?
I'm hoping for some kind of rational explanation from GI before my next trip but I'm not holding my breath for it.

I know. If only we could have a rational discussion with GI. They just completely ignore the point you're trying to make and don't answer specific questions. It's infuriating and demoralizing. I understand how Barbara is ready to give up
Hopefully if enough people write tickets about the same problems they will realize that maybe they should stop harassing their players and actually make an effort to solve certain problems.

I don't post often, but I read the forums daily. I can't believe how absolutely ludicrous your experience is, and Barbara's...time changing? Ugh. In May I went on a business trip from my home in Seattle to Houston. I didn't adjust the time on my ipad or iPhone, and now it seems, based on posts I've read here, that if you go to another time zone, the anal programmers of GI have the game set to interpret any time change whatsoever as "cheating"...

I'd love to fly to Russia or wherever GI is and keep my ipad powered off, then turn it on at their office and adjust the time for the new time zone I'm in...and then get accused of cheating (by the game stopping to function correctly) right in front of them...so they can see how stupid it is!!!

Ok, my rant is over. . I've been playing Tribez since I read Frenetta mention that game many months ago. It has the equivalent of greenies (crystals), and I've never purchased any, but still have advanced far. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for another game to play. It takes time to acquire items for quests sometimes just like the "drop rate" in AC, but it is a good way to pass the time when bored.
