How do I access the dictionary used for spell check?

Unfortunately there isn't a way to access the iPad's dictionary. If you find that there you have "taught it" some misspelled words you can reset it however. Settings' > General > Reset > Reset Keyboard Dictionary.

Also, if you want to add words, although you can't directly there's a well-known workaround.

The iPad never corrects a word that's in the Contacts list. So, a Member noted, and it works just fine - add special words, such as business or technical terms, as 'spoof' entries in the Contacts database and then they won't be autocorrected.
