Photobooth pictures mirrored?

This may sound weird, but whenever I take a picture in Photobooth, it is left-right swapped. So it looks completely opposite to what Photobooth shows me.

Is this normal behavior? Why can't Photobooth just take a picture of what it shows me?

It's left-right reversed in what it shows. Hold up something written and you'll see that. so to make the picture "right," it reverses it. Don't know why that is, but there you go...

It is showing you a mirror view because that's the easiest, most natural way to handle seeing yourself. The actual picture is taken the way the camera really sees you.

I don't thing it is normal, there was a problem on your Photobooth application especially when you start installing it on your Mac but first you should consult for a developer to check its condition.
