    Dear all,

I'm interested any feedback people may have on using iPads for language learning, either formally at school or informally at home, oriented around individual learning:

    - what areas of language learning have you found this most effective for (vocal learning? grammar? pronunciation?...)
    - are there any areas where you think iPad-based learning does not work?
    - are there any particular types of apps/activities that you have found most helpful/engaging for language learning?

I'm also interested in group learning, but will start a separate thread for this.

I should also mention that part of my motivation for asking is that I run a language learning web site and am interested in adding new apps to the site.

Look forward to seeing people's thoughts!

    Neil
