I am new to ipad 2. I am downloading lot's of free stuff. what if I feel that I don't need few of them? how can i uninstall on ipad?

On the app/game or whatever you do not want, hold you finger o. The icon until it jiggles (apple's term) and then hit the small x on the icon you want to delete
