How does any attach know what apps are in the applications folders

    It looks like installed apps live in:

    \var\mobile\Applications

    The problem is that the folder names are not the names of the apps. I have to navigate into the folders to figure out what app is in the folder. The excellent anyattach extension, with the "Show App Names" setting set to "on," displays the App names that are in the folder. How does it know this? Does it crawl inside the folder and get the *.app name, or does it get the info from somewhere else?

    Yes, it crawles inside the app and retrieves the name from the info.plist.
