Gmail problem

    My iPad 1 has stopped picking up my emails although when I log into gmail via the Internet the emails are there. On the iPad a message appears saying "the mail server imap.gmail.com is not responding". I've looked at the settings but not sure what to do - this isn't the name of the server I had been using. I've cleared all cookies and history. Any ideas please?

    I don't know if you have the same problem but when I had the same thin happen it turned out to be the router,it had decided to block the email address,for some reason,I just reset the router and all was back working,hope this helps.
