I've just discovered that for whatever reason, when I try to send a document via email from Pages...send a photo from Photos or send a link to a web page from Safari they do not go or nor is the sent sound heard ? What have I done...but more importantly how do I undo it !

Check your settings. Make sure your default e-mail is one that can send from wherever you are. For example, I have a POP account that I can only use to send mail if I am at home. So, now, my default e-mail (the one the iPad uses when sending from an app such as Safari) is an IMAP account (Gmail, in my case).

To change your default e-mail: Go to your Settings app, then select Mail, Contacts, Calendars. Then, on the right side, scroll down until you see the line Default Account. Pressing on it will allow you to choose whichever account you wish...

That's all I can think of as a solution. If that's not it, please holler back and we'll take another stab at it. Good luck.

I've been able to send links and photos from the start, why the change ? In the Mail, Contact, Calendar, there is an 'Account' but not a 'Default Account' ? I am going to try resetting the MobileMe account ?

FYI: I recently had to change my hotmail password and I finally figured out that the new password had not been updated under the 'outgoing mail server'. With that correction made, everything seems to be back to normal !

Whew! Glad you got it worked out.

And, thanks for updating the board, it may help out someone else in the same situation. 'Preciate it.
