The zoom is a motorola android tablet, not Microsoft.

Yeah, I think he was referring to the Zune. (Although I wouldn't be too surprised if Motorola were pulling the Xoom from the market, either.)

Microsoft will not be making any new models of the Zune, but will continue to sell the current models until existing stock is sold out. That is estimated to be in 2017. They will continue software support.

Say whatever you want, but my $99 dookie-brown Zune 30GB has been going strong since my iPod Color 30GB gave up the ghost a few years ago (probably like 4 or more now, getting at that point in life where the years are flying by).
