Greetings,

I tried searching for this first before posting but am getting a flood of results that are not applicable to my question.
I'm in a university closed lab environment and have been blessed with some ipads for use by students for instructional sessions.
I have access to the apple configuration utility but I am not seeing an option for what I am trying to accomplish.

So here it is. I would like to be able to have a user log on to a specific network (I've done this with the config utility successfully) when trying to access internet resources. What I need is to have roughly a one button solution to have the user clear the credentials so the next user can come on and not be on someone elses wireless log on.

Thanks in advance for any assistance or directions you can point me in.

So, you want to achieve the result of the "forget this network" option in settings, but with a single button? So the next student would then have to setup a new connection from scratch?

Please clarify.

I might have missed your point entirely, but if that is what you're trying to do, then do you really want to have students creating a network connection each time?

I'm interpreting your question that way because typically, the sort of thing you seem to be looking for would be achieved on the network side, not the iPad side. What you often see in hotels or at hotspots for instance, is that the network itself is unsecured, but you must enter some login details to initiate a time-limited session before you can go anywhere else.

I think you should probably have a chat with your IT department or network administrator - what you've said so far doesn't sound like an iPad problem to me.
