It's nice that the top comes off too. the Zs have fixed roofs. I miss my C5 Vert. My company bought mine for me, but then I own the company. :)

that was the only style of vette i could fit in comfortablely and still be able to take a road trip and not have problems on the drive to and from somewhere

Agreed, doors and hoods should be closed for car pictures, unless you are taking a pic of the interior or engine.

On topic, I've got a love/hate relationship with the brand new Vettes, I love that the Z06 and ZR1 perform so well, but I hate the fact that their interior feels like it belongs in a Cavalier with optional leather. We are talking about a $60-$100k car here Chevy, use better quality interior materials please.

On topic, this is my Corvette sitting back in the US. I don't particularly love it, it's underpowered and an automatic, but I've got a sentimental attachment to it. Dad owns a 58, 63, and 82 Vette as well.

LOL. Yeah I guess that was the original topic.

For the record, I would take a C4 ZR1 over a brand new ZR1 any day of the week. :)

I am with you on that one! I would have loved to have had one of those, but coming up with the price of a "base" model was hard enough in 1991 much less a $32,000 option package!

Well my base model is pretty well worthless by now which is why I drive it every day, weather permitting. No, I am not one of those people who won't drive it in the rain, but I do put the ol' gal in storage once the first snowfall hits. Another advantage of having an old Corvette... I am getting pretty good at re-doing the intake manifold seals on the L98!

I guess its almost time to dust off the old Jeepster. Its only a 1999 with 260,000 miles on it... just barely broken in!
