Updated my workflow so that it gets an album's artwork "by the same name" from the iTunes Store if the artwork is not availble locally on the iPad. Before it only got the artwork if the song was downloaded on the iPad. Here's the workflow link if anyone is interested. The artwork shows up in the Photos app, the song info gets copied to the clipboard, so still not a one-step solution, but perhaps a bit better than doing a screenshot; providing you have the Workflow app installed.
