Preordering was supposed to start at 2 pm CEST. It‘s 2:02 right now, still waiting.

Successfully ordering a new iPhone. It‘s supposed to arrive between September 24 and 30.

I ordered my new phone as well, as close to 5am as the site would let me.

Despite being far more tempted by the Duo than I expected, I ended up getting a new 18 Pro Max, same model and memory as my oldish 15 Pro Max.

The big screen, pencil support and pure coolness of the Duo almost had me, but in the end the better cameras, better battery life, and $500 difference between 512GB Pro Max and base Duo won the internal argument.

Besides, I already have an iPad Mini, so that screen size is already available to me, if not exactly pocketable.

Now I just have to hold out until the next iPad Pro release. My current 12" M2 is starting to feel a bit lacking.

So what am I doing "right now" mostly overthinking choices already made and waiting impatiently for my new phone. Should see it the 18th.
