As you well know, have been busy making rice pudding!

Think I might have said Scandinavian or E.European but cross stitch is found all over nowadays. Possibly mid- Americas but not easy to decide. Guatemalans specialise in warp-or-weft-faced weaving so don't think there.

I see a selvage edge so likely not made into a bag or cushion. A tray-cloth perhaps? Or hanging?

It's a great fun design with all those little animals.
